Falling in love with Cotswolds furniture

Bellmans Winchester will be offering for sale a collection of Cotswold School furniture, including pieces by Peter Waals after Ernest Gimson. Originally comissioned for Lyndwood, Stoughton Road, Leicester during the 1920's and thence by descent, the collection includes a chequer inlaid oak chest of drawers (below), estimated to realise £5,000-7,000.  

 

The items will go under the hammer on Valentines Day, 14th February, from 10am.

 

We are a currently accepting further items of Cotswold School furniture, silver, ceramics and objects for inclusion in this sale.
