Josse was born into a family of artists and followed in the family tradition, gaining a BA (Hons) in Ceramics from the Bath Academy of Fine Art in 1981. Since then, he has worked from his studio in his home town of Arundel, gaining a large following and numerous accolades, including ‘Best in Show’ in the 2016 Arundel Festival.

Josse has worked as a part time porter at Bellmans for over twenty years, and finds inspiration for his art in the constant array of antiques and decorative effects he sees at Bellmans. Josse is always accompanied by his dog Stanley; each as loveably scruffy as the other!
