Adam has been part of the Bellmans team since 2005, working as a general valuer with wide-ranging interests and a practical, hands-on approach. Over the years, he has developed particular interest in musical instruments, automobilia, and anything unusual. He now oversees Bellmans Cars and Automobilia as well as Bellmans Retro Video Games and Collectables. These categories reflect his enthusiasm for objects that blend craftsmanship, nostalgia, and cultural history - from classic cars and motoring memorabilia to early gaming consoles and collectables from the 1980s and 90s.
His passion for the past began early, with a fascination for “old things” that led him to start out assisting at Bellmans with furniture. That initial curiosity quickly expanded into a broader interest across multiple collecting areas, which continues to shape his work at Bellmans today.
Adam has also supported Bellmans’ move into the digital age, contributing to the introduction of online bidding and the use of new technologies to improve the auction process and reach wider audiences. Away from the saleroom, Adam enjoys spending time with family, metal detecting, and the thrill of discovering overlooked or forgotten items - whether buried in the ground or hidden in a garage. He remains especially drawn to pieces with a story behind them and the potential to surprise.
