European Ceramics Auctions

Bellmans' European Ceramics Department covers European and British porcelain and glass and dedicated English and European Ceramic auctions and valuations are held bi-monthly in our Sussex salesroom, while our glassware sales are part of our Interiors Auctions.

Recent highlights include a collection of Royal Worcester porcelain, with fine examples of Stinton and Baldwyn, which cumulatively sold for over £30,000. Other highlights include a large 16th century German stoneware jug, a so called Bartmann Krug, which reached £8,400, while a Russsian soviet porcelain oval tray from 1920 fetched £7,500 and a pair of Derby pigeon tureens (circa 1760) made £1,900.

Our specialists in London and Sussex have decades of experience in both British and European ceramics and glass. Bellmans sells to both specialist dealers as well as private collectors in the UK and internationally, with a strong following in America and Europe.

Valuations take place both in our Sussex Saleroom and our London office in Cromwell Place, South Kensington, as well as 'pop-up' valuation days across the country. Preliminary estimates can also be provided via email and we are delighted to arrange home visits.

Reach out to us with your contact details and our team from London or Sussex will further assist you.
