Julian Dineen is Head of our Picture Department. He first joined Bellmans as a picture specialist and valuer in the Winchester saleroom and, alongside Iain Rushbrook, was responsible for its running.
Julian began his career working for an Old Master Paintings dealer in Mayfair, and subsequently moved to Bonhams in Winchester where, with a focus on pictures, he sourced and valued art and antiques for their London and Oxford salerooms. Julian read Philosophy and Theology at the University of Exeter, followed by a Masters in Art History at the University of St Andrews.
