Bellmans Defibrillator

The Billingshurst Emergency Assistance Team (BEAT) has recently set up a new Public Access Defibrillator (PAD) site with us at Bellmans, Sussex. As a location open to the public, it is available to staff and visiting clients, along with residents in the local Wisborough Green area.

BEAT is a registered charity. It is a group of volunteer Community First Responders who are trained to provide a quick response to life-threatening 999 emergencies and are able to provide vital first aid treatment prior to the arrival of an ambulance. In rural areas a local Responder can often be on scene much sooner, with equipment that can greatly improve the patient’s chance of survival. For more information, visit their website www.beatresponders.org.uk

Stuart from Cato Electrical was kind enough to fit the defibrillator free of charge. Cato Electrical offer domestic, commercial or industrial electrical services to the whole of the South East of England. They are a very friendly company and we are pleased that they were able to help us on this project. Their website is www.catoelectrical.com

We would like to take this opportunity to thank BEAT and Stuart from Cato Electrical for installing the defibrillator for us.
