Ewhurst Park Contents Sale 9th December 2020

20 November 2020

The Auction

Bellmans is delighted to announce the sale of the contents of Ewhurst Park, Ramsdell, Hampshire.

Ewhurst Park was once the seat of the Dukes of Wellington from 1817 to 1943. Sold in 1943, the house and estate were occupied by the Canadian military during the Second World War. In 2007, the owner embarked upon a major building programme, commissioning Winchester based, award winning architects, Adam Architecture to design a beautiful and substantial country house, worthy of the 930 acre estate it sits in.

With the building completed, interior designers were appointed to lavishly furnish the property with no expense spared. The result is a beautiful and wonderfully eclectic mix of contemporary furnishings, from magnificent sofas to glorious chandeliers and splendid glassware, portraying all the hallmarks of a very modern country house interior.
