A golden oak six drawer chest, by Peter Waals after a design by Ernest Gimson, circa 1930, the plain top with moulded low back rail, the top and sides with exposed dovetail and mortise joints, fitted with two short and four long quarter sawn flash front drawers, the outer frame with a 'D' section holly and macassar ebony raised moulding, the projecting vertical handles with notch carved edges, on stepped and chamfered projecting feet, 91cm x 52cm x 125cm.

Condition report

Some sun fading.  Some marks to the top including half a ring stain, 2 rectangular marks and 1 or 2 water marks.  Some light scratches and water marks to some of the drawers.  

In good original condition throughout with no sign or repair or alteration.
