An Australian walnut bedside table by Peter Waals, 1930, the open slatted back with two shelves with chamfered edge detail on a base with step moulded panel cupboard door with dished 'D' handle on stepped feet, united by a chamfered apron. 38 x 39 x 106cm.

Condition report

Some fading from sun damage to the front cupboard door and shelves.  Water marks visible on the shelves, and top and front of cupboard door.  A ring mark and some small marks to the top shelf.  Two ring marks and a longer mark (approx 3cms x 5 cms) to middle shelf.  Top of cupboard has various spots and ring marks.  Marked as if some liquid has been spilt on it during it's long history.  Also a darker mark to the right hand side, approximately 5cms long. Cupboard door has a dark patch (approx 7cms long) running vertically in the centre and also some spots as if some liquid has been spilt on it at some point in it's long history.  In original condition throughout with no sign of repair or alteration.
