A gold and platinum set, diamond and cultured pearl pendant brooch, circa 1910, in a scroll pierced open work Belle Epoque Art Nouveau design, mounted with cushion shaped diamonds and with a single cultured pearl to the drop, the principal diamond weighs approx 1.90 cts, fitted with a safety chain, gross weight 16.5 gms, with the original fitted case, detailed Simonet-Deanscutter Bruxelles. Illustrated.
The principal diamond has a few internal pique inclusions and the principal diamonds slightly draw colour, otherwise condition is good apart from one or two lead solder points visible at the back, width 5.7cm, length including drop 5.5cm. The neckchain is missing. Evidence of glue at the top of the cultured pearl. Case good condition.
