A good pair of Chinese famille-rose vases, 19th century,each ovoid body finely enamelled with two carp amongst foaming waves beneath overhanging branches of blossoming peony, the shoulders reserved with panels of Buddhist emblems against a pink diaper ground, the waisted neck painted with two pheasants perched on rocks and flowering branches, 40cm high, (2). Illustrated.
