An unusual walnut cased hexagonal 'Stormoguide'

The chamfered octagonal case supported by a pair of brackets on a stepped plinth base, the silvered dial with turned brass bezel, engraved with indications for 'Rising' and 'Falling', and with an engraved brass panel to the plinth with additional instructions, the reverse with altitude dial for adjustment

Condition report

The case, brass bezel and glass are in good condition.
We are not able to confirm if the mechansim works.
Dial: a spot just above the signature, a number of very small spots on the dial, but not really noticeable, viewing from 12" away.
