An 18ct gold cased, keyless wind, half hunting cased gentleman's pocket watch, the jewelled lever movement detailed Sir John Bennett Ltd, 65 Cheapside, London 402132, 18ct gold inner case, presentation inscribed, the signed enamelled dial with black Roman numerals and with subsidiary seconds, London 1925, the caseback monogram engraved, with the original case.

Condition report

Inner case is hallmarked 18ct gold, it would be a shame to remove the inscription as this would make the inner case rather thin. Interior glass loose. Dial and hands are in good condition. Case hinges are in good condition and close cleanly. Front cover does open on its spring. The movement is working but we do not guarantee reliability of timekeeping. Interior case back is presentation inscribed. Bullseye glass present. Case back monogram engraved. Case in good condition, apart from one dent to side of case at point of edge between 11 and 12 o'clock. Case maker's mark Sir JB Ltd. Case diameter 4.7cm. Gross weight 100.5gms. Fitted case in good condition.
